DVCAM/DV Recording Allows recording on standard DV or DVCAM. Also allows for recording of up to 270 minutes on a standard DV cassette. The DSR-250 can also use the standard or mini size cassette. SuperSteadiShot Optical Stabilization System The picture is optically corrected on both the horizontal and vertical axis. The optical stabilization will virutally remove the "shakyness" associated with hand held camera work. 12x Zoom lens with 48x Digital Zoom Tthe high resolution of the DSR-250 allows the use os a 2x digital zoom without artifacts. maximum Digital Zoom is 4x JPEG Still Image Recording The DSR-250 allows the capture of 640x480 pixel still images either on tape or the removeable Memorystick media. The camera move switches to progressive scanning to offer a very high quality still image that can be E mailed. 1.5" and LCD Viewfinder A high resolution 1.5" Black and White viewfinder as well as a swing out LCD viewfinder are available on the DSR-250. The 1.5" B+W viewfinder is used for critical focusing, with the LCD viewfinder can be used when high andgle, low angle or color verification is required. Both viewfinders can be used similtaneously.
