The Panasonic Professional Display Company (PPDC) is proud to announce the introduction of the all new 50” and 65” 1080p Full HD plasma displays (TH-50PF10UK and TH-65PF10UK). With these impressive new models, Panasonic has once again raised the bar by which other technologies will be compared. The TH-50PF10UK and TH-65PF10UK provide superior image quality which has been upgraded with the latest technological improvements, they have incredible panel longevity with a 100,000-hour service life, and they’re backed by Panasonic’s 2-year warranty and world-class Plasma Concierge Service. With the ever-increasing demand in today’s marketplace for more durable and reliable products, customers are counting on manufacturers to create long-lasting, high-quality products to ensure that their expectations are being met and exceeded. Now, Panasonic Full HD 10-Series Pro Plasmas can deliver over 42 years of performance under normal operating conditions (6.5 hours/day of usage), or 11 years of continuous 24/7 operation! Plus, there is yet another (5th) generation increase in resistance to ghosted imaging, and after an initial break-in period of about 100 hours, a Panasonic Pro Plasma can display a static image for a continuous 2,000 hours (80+ days of 24/7 operation) before a ghosted image might begin to appear – which is on a level akin to when LCDs begin to exhibit static image retention. And if you’re using our built-in screen saver functions, there’s a good chance that you would never see such an image appear. The TH-50PF10UK and TH-65PF10UK also provide new video processing capabilities to further sharpen the image when displaying low resolution content or when zooming the image in video wall applications (Note: 10-Series Full HD Plasmas now support up to 5x5 video walls natively). This new video system delivers image quality that is even slightly better than our consumer product which has recently received extremely high ratings from Consumer Reports, which we invite you to check out for the details. As an enhanced feature, these new models also come standard with the TYFB10HM Dual 1080p HDMI card ($185 dollar value). It provides twice the connectivity options of the previously-standard 1080p DVI card for increased system design flexibility. The standard configuration for the TH- 50PF10UK and TH-65PF10UK now includes the TY42TM6A 1080p Component Video card and TYFB10HM 1080p Dual HDMI HDCP enabled card, accompanied by the standard 15pinHD PC Input, PC audio input and RS-232c connections. (Note: The TYFB10HM is compatible with all 10- Series displays, however is not backward compatible with the 9-Series product due to hardware incompatibilities.) A new Anti-Reflective coating is now standard on all new Panasonic 10-Series Full HD models as well, further helping to reduce the visible reflection from the display.
